The EA Charity Story

The Equal Adventure charity began with a desire to make sure that everybody is able to engage with the outdoor environment in a safe and meaningful way. The EA Charity works towards inspiring people to get outdoors, to inform, and to create resources to support this mission.
To be kind to the planet, we recycle everything that we use, we reuse what we can, we leave no trace when out on expeditions, and we work as hard as we can to reduce our carbon footprint.

EA Charity’s Inclusive Fieldwork Programme is currently focused on safe, ethical, low carbon, inclusive expeditions, supporting the creation of a new normal; a normal where anybody with any functional needs can engage in safe and carefully planned expeditions and fieldwork. These fieldwork programmes also support inclusion for scientists and other professionals to engage with their fieldwork safely and meaningfully.

Our Green and Blue Health Programme focuses on supporting and implementing activities and developing mindsets that work with nature to improve well-being. EA Charity is eager to continue working with housing associations, disability organisations, and a wide range of communities to support this.

The Paddle Wilde Scotland Programme is devoted to bringing everybody to treasured waterways and wild places that can be travelled to by open canoe. The Equal Adventure staff and team meet you and you aspirations, so that you can start your journey where you need to be.
