Inclusive Climbing, High Ropes, Watersports & Archery
Two-Day Practical Training Course
Delivered by Equal Adventure

Event Overview
This two-day Inclusive Climbing, High Ropes, Watersports and Archery course is a highly practical training designed for people who deliver outdoor activity and learning and want to strengthen their confidence in inclusive practice.
Taking place on 17–18 January 2026, the course supports participants to adapt climbing and water-based activities for people with a wide range of physical, sensory and learning needs. The emphasis is firmly on learning by doing — with extensive hands-on delivery, practical problem-solving and real-world application, rather than classroom-based theory.
Training is led by experienced practitioners specialising in adaptive and inclusive outdoor activity, with a strong focus on safe, person-centred and empowering delivery.
Participants who successfully complete both days will receive Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL) accreditation.
Equal Adventure operates within an ISO 9001 accredited quality management system, ensuring high standards across training and delivery.
One ticket covers both days. Attendance across the full two-day programme is required for accreditation.
What You’ll Learn
Across the two days, participants will explore inclusive delivery across multiple activity settings, including:
- Adaptive climbing techniques and participation systems

- Facilitating safe, inclusive sessions for mixed-ability groups
